漢字がとても難しい。。。

私は漢字がとても難しいと思います。大学で毎週１２漢字を覚えなければなりません。しかし、漢字があまり上手じゃないです。よく勉強したのに、覚えることができません。。。

CULTURE- Karuta 文化ーカルタ

今日、クラスでカルタで遊びました！！！とても楽しかった。私は６枚のカードを取りました。

カルタは何ですか？

カードゲームです！全部のカードに違い日本語の諺があります。諺がちょっと難しいと思うのに、カルタがとても楽しいと思います。

私の一番好きなカルタカードが「蛙の子は蛙」と言います。蛙はとてもかわいいですね！

In class today, we played Karuta! It was a lot of fun, and I was able to take six cards.

What is Karuta?

Karuta is a card game. Every card has a different Japanese saying on it. These sayings are a little bit tricky I think (because they are quite different from English), but I still find Karuta enjoyable.

My favourite card is the one that has two frogs on it. The basic message of the card, in English, is 'like father, like son'.

Hi everyone! My name is Becky, and I am majoring in Japanese at university. I have been studying Japanese for five years, but because I have a chronic illness, studying is difficult, and so I am not as advanced as I should be.

Because I like Japanese history, culture and literature, I am studying the language also. I would like to become a Japanese to English translator.
